Hey Reader,

Ever feel a little nervous when hitting “send” on your latest email, worried that you’ll wake up to a flood of unsubscribes?

You’re not alone!

When I first started sending daily emails (after being challenged by my coach at the time to do it), I was so sure that 100s of people would unsubscribe.

But after 30 days of sending daily emails, my unsubscribe rate remained unchanged.

90 days later?

The unsubscribe rate had decreased.

On average, I have less then 10 unsubscribes a day.

In my latest video, I tackle the common fear of losing subscribers every time we show up in someone’s inbox—and share why this worry is holding us back from real success with email marketing.

Sending more emails doesn’t always lead to more unsubscribes. I

n fact, it’s often the opposite.

Here’s what I’m seeing in my own account:

  • I send daily emails (yep, daily!)—and my unsubscribe rate is consistently under 3%, often much lower.
  • My automated welcome and nurture sequences have even higher open rates and fewer unsubscribes than my regular broadcasts.
  • Why? Because every email tells a story, teaches a lesson, and includes a simple call to action.

The Real Secret: The Nurture & Sell Framework.

If you want to keep your subscribers engaged (and eager to buy from you), your emails should:

  1. Start with a relatable story—just a few lines is all you need.
  2. Share a quick, valuable lesson that solves a problem or answers a burning question.
  3. Give an action step your reader can take right away.
  4. End with a clear, friendly call to action—like checking out a resource, replying to you, or exploring a new offer.

Pro Tip: Segment your list whenever possible to send the right message to the right people—this keeps unsubscribes down and engagement high.

Reminder: Every unsubscribe is a chance to make your list stronger.

It helps you serve the right people, and makes room for subscribers who truly love what you share.

So don’t fear unsubscribes—embrace them!
